Digital Careers Expos announced for Auckland Wellington and Christchurch

Date: August 14, 2009

While New Zealand’s International Education industry earns $2.3 billion per annum and ranked as our 4th largest export, to become “work ready” for the our labour market, students need more support in making study and career choices aligned with future skills needs.

The Digital Careers Expos support NZ educated internationals to become our future workers here.

Beyond supporting the development of New Zealand educated internationals as future workers onshore, dialogue between employers and government on Immigration Policy will further enhance the growth of this important future resource.

Digital Careers Expos connect international students with support services and employers to help them make study and career choices aligned with NZ’s future skills needs and become “work ready” for the New Zealand labour market.  In addition the Expos host the ICT Industry Immigration Policy Roundtable, an opportunity for industry to debate key policy issues with Immigration officials and leaders.
